Another clean scan on Tuesday, the 14!!!!!!!

He will continue the avastin infusions bi-weekly.  This is the stuff that suppresses blood vessel formation, and tumors need lots of blood vessels to feed them.  Side effect: high blood pressure.  So Conan is now on blood pressure meds. He also a big bad nosebleed a couple of weeks ago.

He also is continuing the temador for an undetermined length of time. Maybe as long as 2 years. This is the chemo, and the doc wants to be sure to kill any stray cancer that may be around. This causes nausea and the anti-nausea drug causes other issues, so more pills.

While everyone is thrilled there has been no regrowth, Conan was hoping to get off the monthly roller coaster that comes with the chemo dose.  So give him your best smiles and remind him you're glad he is here!
